UAV Safety Sub-Forum of the 2023 Global Public Security Cooperation Forum (Lianyungang) Held in Shenzhen

On September 12, the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Security Sub-forum of the 2023 Global Public Security Cooperation Forum (Lianyungang) was held in Shenzhen, Guangdong. Industry experts and entrepreneurs from 13 countries and regions around the world participated in the forum. The sub-forum was hosted by the China Association for Friendship and organized by the Shenzhen UAV Industry Association and the Shenzhen Security Prevention Industry Association. Representatives from the China Association for Friendship, the World UAV Federation, the China Security Protection Products Industry Association, and the Shenzhen UAV Industry Association gave opening remarks.

This sub-forum was one of the series of sub-forums under the 2023 Global Public Security Cooperation Forum (Lianyungang), with the theme "New Industries, New Ecosystems, New Security." During the forum, domestic and international experts, entrepreneurs, and other participants discussed UAV flight safety and innovative applications. They engaged in dialogues about safe drone operations and reached a consensus on promoting drone flight safety and information network security cooperation, aiming to build a new ecosystem for drone industry development and safety, based on the core concept of“Cooperative Security for Common Prosperity”. This resulted in the outcome document Initiative on Safe UAV Operations.
