On September 8, the Law Enforcement Capacity Building Sub-Forum of the 2024 GPSCFL Conference was held in Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province. Over 30 guests from countries like the United States, France, Russia and Australia, and nearly 100 experts and scholars from Chinese public security authorities, police academies, research institutions and renowned think tanks, were invited to attend the sub-forum. This sub-forum was hosted by the China Association for Friendship and organized by the China People's Police University.
With the theme of “Cooperation, Professionalism, Capability: System Building on Law Enforcement Capacity Under the Global Security Initiative”, the sub-forum aimed to work with all parties to implement the spirit of the Concept Paper on the Global Security Initiative through expert lectures, theoretical discussions, and experience exchanges. It sought to discuss cooperation and share achievements in global public security governance, contributing wisdom and strength to promoting a community with a shared future for mankind characterized by universal security and common prosperity.
Participants conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges from various perspectives, including Global Law Enforcement Capacity Building, Security of Overseas Cooperation Projects, Peacekeeping Operations Capacity Building, Preventing and Combating Transnational Organized Crime, and Cultivation of High-Level International Law Enforcement Cooperation Talents.
