Heartiest congratulations on the publication of the First Annual Report of the Global Public Security Cooperation Forum (Lianyungang). I was there to witness the successful organization of the 2023 Conference and the enormous knowledge that had been convened - it is no mean feat to bring over 500 practitioners, experts, and scholars from some 50 countries to exchange views on issues of public security and development. It is critical to continue the tradition of deliberations and discourse across competing views and visions to arrive at the best possible outcome for our conflicted and insecure world. I am certain the Forum will continue to pursue this objective.
